This is not a book about psychotherapy or coaching, but it does seem relevant to psychosynthesis. Kate Raworth is an economist with a difference. She has rejected the academic economist’s usual panacea of mathematics and calculus, and focussed on the human aspects of economics. The book is subtitled Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st Century Economist. She argues that rather than maximizing GDP growth, the world needs a different model for economics that works in the middle zone between extreme poverty and environmental catastrophe. The image of the doughnut is used to encapsulate this notion. and has become an iconic symbol for the alternative economics community.
